All I am trying to say is that if you are talking about messaging a group of people at the same time, this is more or less the same as posting memes and messages to users following a stream - which already exists in this site. Why make things more complicated? Its possible to program but sheesh why can't you appreciate what you are already getting - for free! Not to mention as soon as you start allowing an internal messaging service you could be legally liable especially if you don't update the imgflip user agreement. OK besides those not insurmountable but possibly expensive technical limitations, what's in it for the user? Free buddy jerk off time during school?

yet, maybe a certain group of people would like to keep it private. maybe a lil chat or maybe just to talk about moderation of memes or something, i can see your point of view on this. but all were asking is a group chat feature instead of one on one chat. i know that's quite a bit to ask for, but if they don't add it..then they don't add it. simple. we tried and we failed. that's all that'll happen
