Yes, as a taper, I spent 13 hrs sanding 2k sq ft class 5 cielings in a custon home I'm working on. Then spent 5 hrs the next day priming wearing a mask. So this meme is bullshit

I've bin using them for quite a few years, taping for 27. So far I've survived, wierd, had no idea they were so dangerous, OSHA pretty silent on that, there must be a conspiracy there somewhere

OSHA has never bin on a job site. I swap em out, new one every day, however, now I am out, my last box.

They don't usually come out unless someone calls them or sends a letter anonymously, then they give notice and come out to inspect the workplace.
The idea is they put out the regulations and they are considered safe working practices and generally people follow them because they've been shown to be safe.
Which means they had people in masks pass out so they had to make a regulation.

You have obviously never bin on a job site either, 2 safeties a week and surprise OSHA or WCB visits randomly, every outfit has their own safety/first aid on the job and the general contactors ALWAYS have a safety /first aid on hand, orientations before you walk on the job and wear your sticker on your skid lid. Everyone gets booted off a job atleast once, sometimes just for a day, and witnessed some run off a job for good not following standards or repeated violations, fines handed out. Commercial work suck, I do as little as possible, I like privates or residential. Hearing tests once a year, lift courses, fall arrest training, I have 3 trade red seals and all my tickets including first aid. The masks are fine.

I mostly worked in factories. Never got a surprise visit.

And that is why you wash your masks.
