I’m not saying I don’t support straight people, and I don’t hold anything against anyone for being straight. The only reason that people don’t support straight pride is that it is often used as a mask for homophobia, and is just unneeded in our society, as straight and cisgendered people have always been widely accepted and considered ‘normal’. Straight people never have to deal with hate or prejudice purely on the basis of being straight (that I know of), so I feel like it is unfair to people who have had to deal with homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, or enbyphobia to give straight people pride celebrations.
