He "jokes" about winning four consecutive terms, jailing political opponents, and all that. Cozies up to and admires the "strength" of foreign dictators. What would you expect from a dude whose professional background is being the patriarch of a family business?

He wanted to shut down TikTok, he threatens to sue the NYT for unfavorable coverage. Guy is no 1st Amendment friend to speech he doesn't like.

Reason we haven't slid into fascism overall is because: (1) The mainstream media aren't Trump sycophants (quite the opposite), and (2) We have a robust tradition of democracy and freedom that one tin-pot dictator wannabe can't overturn, traditions other countries that did fall to fascism lacked.
