Frontpage doesnt make points....it's the comments....but yeah, conversations just mean this site needs a messaging feature......

Yeah no, see I was up there constantly cause I am a creator and create content mostly that gets a lot of likes, but if you know the points system dude, you get more for commenting with memes on people's stuff than anything else and I aint got no time for that.....Im gonna comment like this..........you should see the rando meme comments I get, from some of these very users

And before you comment, click on some profiles and read some stats ;-).....who_am_1 is the ONLY creator and commentor on here who deserves credit......the rest, see how many make nothing but meme comments.......

Comments could maybe be nerfed a bit, or somehow tied to the length of the comment

It’s hilarious that “lol,” “no u,” and “ikr”-style comments are worth as many points as a 5-paragraph JeroenBroks essay

Then again, making comments worth more based on length would only encourage “lololololololololololol...” etc etc. style comments which would be even worse

At the end of the day, I don’t think there’s any way of calculating points that would be resistant to ImgFlipping behavior that would strike somebody somewhere as “gaming the system.”

Sure, featured images that are actually moderated should be worth the most.....
