I only remember her dodging the Supreme Court question and why would they answer it? They’re taking a page out of FDR’s book when he threatened to pack the SCOTUS if the justices shot down the New Deal. It’s really the only leverage they have.

In the same vein, the nailed Pence on the railroading of Comey and paralleled it with Abraham Lincoln’s decision to not name a justice 27 days before an election.

Yeah that was the specific question I was referring to. I think other times Kamala would sort of meander before answering at the end. Pence on the other hand, is physically incapable of answering a question. As for packing the courts, I'm actually torn on that issue.

They aren’t going to pack the courts. It’s the only threat they have, because there’s a very good chance the GOP loses the Senate in November.

Actually Lincoln didn't do that. That was yet another lie by Harris just like every lie she told that contradicted her and Biden's website.

Not entirely true, but not at all false, Lincoln did do that, the same way he demanded the military get their ballots to mail in, even though he knew he was wildly unpopular with the fighting men.

That being said, how do you feel Mike Pence forgetting to mention that the GOP-controlled Senate outright refused to vote on Merrick Garland nine months before an election, because (back then) Mitch McConnell said it was unfair for a justice to be named in an election year?

A month before the election is fine though.

Again, you have no idea what you’re talking about. When Obama was in office, there was a vacancy nine months before the election. Moscow Mitch vowed to not confirm ANY Obama appointee because it was an “election year.” Lindsey Graham and the rest of the GOP in the Senate backed McConnell up. Obama appointed Merrick Garland, who was a compromise pick, and the Senate refused to even hold a hearing.

The GOP even went so far as to say if Clinton had won and Republicans controlled the Senate, they would NEVER confirm a Democratic appointee.

Clearly, you don't know what you're talking about.

to be clear congress was out of session when Lincoln was president so he couldn't appoint the Supreme court justice. He didn't say whatever Harris was rambling off about in the debate. You have to control the presidency and the senate to appoint the justice you what appointed or you have to find a middle ground.

Exactly, Republicans control both the presidency and the senate. So, they have a right to appoint a Supreme Court justice it's been done at least 9 other times. It's called the separation of powers.

Of all the questions dodged, this was easily the most important.

Trump’s answers on questions of democracy and voting and peaceful transfer of power were of course despicable, but Pence’s answer here indicates that undermining faith in democracy and elections is not just a Trump thing but rather becoming mainstream within the Republican Party.

A simple “yes, we will honor the results of the election” would have sufficed. Yet Pence used the opportunity to grandstand and “no u” and imply that the FBI and Democrats’ decision to ever investigate the Trump campaign’s communications with Russia in the first place was the real scandal.

Totally despicable, and yet it’s gone largely unnoticed because the bar of what we can expect from the GOP these days has really fallen that low.

at least pence didn't prey on people emotionally, kamala said maybe 1 or 2 things true whereas almost everything pence said was true

You literally have it backwards. Pence basically lied about approximately everything he said.

What he said. Almost everything she said was against what her running page says she was just afraid to lose votes.

On the other hand, you are...well, I didn't wanted to used the term "biased" but replaced it with "delusional".
