It’s to say that if COVID-19 occurred then in place of H1N1, we’d be in the millions dead. Ron Klein, who was Biden’s chief of staff, said in 2019 of H1N1 that “It is purely a fortuity that this isn’t one of the great mass casualty events in American history. It had nothing to do with us doing anything right.”

No: If we had more liberal leadership in this country (like they have across the border in Canada), we’d have been a lot better off.

Across the board, Democrats have been more responsive to science, more willing to mask up and take other distancing precautions, more willing to take the pandemic seriously.

Countries with socially- and scientifically-oriented leadership have weathered this better. Trump and the modern-day GOP are neither of those things.

Well, as of today, Canada has 9,286 deaths. That’s quite the rise from 2 deaths a month ago, especially while daily deaths on the global scale are trending down.

And strangely enough, that’s nearly twice the deaths in China!

I have no doubt QAnon is busy fashioning a conspiracy over Trump’s positive diagnosis anyway, but this makes it harder for them to pin it on Biden or the Democrats or the deep state or whatever.
