Let's say that "debate" was horrible on both sides, and to be frank, I think only a blind fool actually expected a real debate.

Believe it or not, my expectations of this "debate" were so abysmally low that they were actually met and surpassed.

This debate was a model of civility compared to your average ImgFlip politics section. Basically, I was expecting Trump to start cursing at Biden, and launch into Killary, Pedo Joe, and related disgusting crap.

Trump shouted out white supremacists, undermined election integrity and the peaceful transfer of power, relitigated the very Ukrainegate crap that he was impeached for, told revisionist history about his Covid response, and aired every right-wing talking point conspiracy theory under the sun other than those

But he did not call Joe a pedo

And for that he can be commended

Yup... But it seems (I only listened half as I *knew* nothing really interesting was to be expected) that Trump did already hint he would not "blindly accept" the outcome of the election (unless they turn out in his favor). I heard that one before as he said something similar when Hillary Clinton was his opponent, like that he wouldn't blindly accept her victory if she won. The plan was easy. Trump never intended to beat Clinton, but he could at least undermine her presidency before she was even inaugurated. Of course that plan "backfired" when he won the elections, and apparently he's trying the same trick again.... After all if any from of doubt could be there about Biden's victory (assuming he wins, as that remains to be seen... 4 years ago we were already certain of Clinton's victory and look what happened in the end) being fair and all, Biden's presidency would also be undermined before it even started. Now the polls appear to be more in Biden's favor now than they were in Clinton's favor 4 years ago, but still... If Trump could manage to make enough people believe Biden's victory would be a fraud, the U.S. can be headed for a bit of trouble.... Oh well..
