Sorry, this was grossly misunderstood. This was a response to a Kamal Harris mem that said "Just because you call them illegal aliens doesn't mean they broke the law". I agree with those who have posted the obvious. Illegal immigrants are called that because "yes, they broke the law" in not going through the naturalization process laid out by the laws of the land. To immigrate is to move into a new area. If you do so in violation of the laws, it is illegal. So yes, we understand both words just fine.

Just a quicky here. I HATE the label UNDOCUMENTED ALIEN. It IS illegal alien or illegal immigrant. They broke the law in getting here and continue breaking the law by being here without going through the naturalization process. If anyone comes in by legal means WELCOME. Otherwise, expect to be exported. I just wanted to make my view clear. See my other comments for an explanation on why this meme might be confused with apathy toward lawbreakers. It really is not.
