Not a great conspiracy - just tyranical to force every citizen to purchase something under penalty of fines. That's all. The Republicans went back to work where they already had health care and watched their coverage prices go up.

Obama said it would encourage lower costs - it didn't. He lied & said everyone could keep their doctor.

Millions of fast food & other minimum wage jobs regeared their businesses to provide less hours to all employees. Which forced younger Americans to get two part time jobs to make up their wages lost from the restructure.

Ok independent 23 year old who never gets sick - now you have to purchase healthcare or you will be fined. I'm sorry you make more than the maximum to receive health care like people who refuse to work get. You will have to now subsidize an expensive plan - sorry you can't ever go do anything because your entertainment budget now goes to a healthcare plan you don't use.

Cost structure never worked right, but it's impossible to adjust as long as the parties refuse to work together. Still, I was never defending Obamacare, I was pointing out that the same healthcare pros that were called "the world's greatest" are now supposedly part of some great covid conspiracy. Kind of like saying teachers are communists, and also saying teachers should carry guns.

I think the schools should do teacher roulette gun usage. 6 teachers will have weapons available - but well hidden from student notice.

School shooters would never know who could put two to three rounds in their chest or head.

After a few successful teachers take out a school shooter - school shooters wouldn't try anymore. Then you remove the gun roulette over time - but still have everyone think its a thing.

The actual health care workers know masks don't stop covid from spreading...at least that's what the 50+ doctors, nurses, etc. that I've spoken to about it say. But what would those front-line people know, that the political hack academics making the stupid recommendations don't?
