Death penalty cases typically exceed $1 million. Non-death penalty cases, through to the end of incarceration, are typically below $750,000.
I'm not saying that, but I think most people in prison don't belong there. Prisons only turn people who have committed anti-social acts even more anti-social than before. Our systems don't prevent and rehabilitate criminals, they produce them. We should be investing in community and education, rather than systems of punishment. That would truly prevent crime.
I am not a fan of Trump or any U.S. presidents. I think they should be as far from power as possible and should not be able to run for office again.
