While I thank you for providing sources, there's a difference between killing and murder; murder is a type of killing, but not all killings are murders.
If you find that source from History class, I'd like to see it.
Many of the people killed on that "KILLED BY POLICE" link you posted were people killed in defensive action by police in the line of duty, such as;
1) Gerardo Bustas, who was shot because he attacked police officers with a knife; that is not a murder by police.

2) Jamari Tarver, who was shot after a high-speed chase in a stolen car and also committed vehicular assault on a police officer; that is not a murder by police. https://www.ktnv.com/news/crime/police-man-shot-by-north-las-vegas-police-during-encounter
3) Troy Caster, killed in a shootout with police following a high-speed car chase after refusing to stop for questioning over an armed robbery; that is not a murder by police.

(P.S, for anyone wanting to trot out the race card, Gerardo was Hispanic, Jamari was black and Troy was white).
