Something keeps staring me in the face. W. wasn't a smart guy. The difference between him and the current narcissist is he most likely knew it. He installed people far smarter than him in his cabinet and he called upon people to guide him through issues. He listened to experts and probably tried his best.
By contrast our President has installed con people at every level. He doesn't seek wisdom or guidance just obsequious subservience. That's the big difference between no and then. Criminal know-nothings grasping power at every level possible.
