You have extreme TDS, you should see someone about that. Trump didn’t send infected patients to where the most vulnerable live. He wasn’t saying it’s ok to gather in large crowds and chant and sing without masks in the beginning and with masks sometimes later. Who encouraged people to go out and mingle with thousands of other people, half of whom weren’t wearing their masks the home time or were wearing them incorrectly.
It wasn't a choice between two extreme reactions. Trump could have been truthful without inciting panic. But that never occurred to him. He reacted as a partisan politician.
Even with Trump trying to keep people calm, I still am trying to get left leaning friends not to panic TODAY! Yes, wear as mask, distance, do the right things... but, don’t panic.
