I brought it up because when Obama "won" the prize, he had only been in office a month or so. He didn't "win" it because of any policies or treaties about or for "peace".
He received the award for being the first "black" President, nothing more.
I do understand what you are saying, but technically, the reason he won, according to the Nobel Commission was for "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between people" (Yes...I Googled it).
