How about no parties at all? That would mean the candidates would need to appeal too and act in the interests of the constituents of their seat/region.

Thanks, Yes I learnt about his views on parties after having developed the opinion that the option of no parties was probably a better option by myself.
It's going to be hard to get to that form of representation though because the main parties and movements for alternate sytems of government are all controlled by the same people and they would like to retain the control they have over us on their terms.
