ImgFlip’s definition of “private parts” prohibits bare anuses too, not just genitalia. I learned this today & thought I’d share.

Thanks for the invite.

Every stream on Imgflip has a "No nudity" rule, displayed in the Submission Rules before you submit your image. There is also a related section in the imgflip.com/terms titled "Imgflip is not a pornographic website".

The Terms of Use and default Submission Rules are intended to be clear and in plain English that all users should be able to understand.

Suggestions about how to improve the clarity of any part of the Terms of Use or any of the Submission Rules for streams can be sent in by
feedback imgflip.com/feedback
(there is also a feedback tab on every page)
or by email to [email protected]

Feedback helps Imgflip, those do all get read.

I do think this is pretty comprehensive and in plain English as you say but a tad more euphemistic. For example “private parts” tripped me up as I assume that meant genitalia (p**is/va**na) as well as exposed female breasts (not technically genitalia, but a secondary sex organ considered to be private). But I did not know that the anus was considered a private part. It’s covered up in public of course but I’ve seen bare asses on ImgFlip. Both genders have asses after all — so not necessarily a sex organ in my mind.

I understand why the description doesn’t explicitly reference the actual names of “private parts” but it does create the potential for confusion and ambiguity.

The gluteus maximus or buttcheeks are fine, but not the actual anus itself. This is why some of your images that are clearly pornographic or sexual in nature but have your little hearts covering the privates do sometimes fly under the radar where if they didn't have that, they would be removed immediately. However, they are still subject to removal if a moderator sees fit. To avoid this, I would recommend either avoiding that content altogether and sticking with bikini people or using a pixelation like the one I've provided here to cover all the areas that a bikini would normally cover up. This would mean covering the entire crack, entire nipple, and entire genitalia regions to avoid it not getting taken down, which I think kinda defeats the purpose of posting a sexy picture. Bikini people is probably your best option since it does still retain that sex appeal.

Thanks for explaining and with anatomically precise and helpful language. 👍

Admittedly, my sexual content sometimes plays around the edges of what’s allowed. As does some other sexy content I see posted by others. I know it’s all subject to modding.

The fact this deleted photo was a comment did get me a comment timer, where a featured meme would not have, which was annoying, but I get it.

Like I said, I’m not deliberately trying to break any rules. In this case, I just hadn’t considered the distinction between exposed ass cheeks (which I knew was okay) and an exposed anus (not).

I made another meme for the stream today about visible outlines of female nipples through clothing, which are apparently okay (as they should be, IMO), although bare female nipples would not be.

I guess it kind of boils down to what you are likely to see out at a pool or beach in public. Lots of leg okay, lots of ass okay, lots of cleavage okay. But no exposed nipples, anuses, or genitalia.

Yeah: the blurry redaction option would kind of kill the sexy mood of these photos though would 100% guarantee compliance with TOS.

Whenever I see those, I am reminded of news stories about horrible events where they are used to block out gore.
