Ah. I actually haven't modded any comments flagged by others yet since the "view comment flags" feature was rolled out.

Snap assessment: This new flags notification system is terrible. It doesn't tell you when someone has flagged a comment in a stream you Mod. I had no idea there were any problems on PoliticsTOO until you told me.

And then when I click on PoliticsTOO in the stream dropdown, I am greeted with a whole bunch of flagged comments with links but when I click on the link, it just takes you to the page (not the specific comment) half the time since there are a ton of collapsed comments. It is darn near impossible to tell which comment specifically was flagged when it is in a collapsed comment chain. If it's not collapsed, it does take you right there, to its credit.

It looks like whistlelock (also a Mod) was part of that thread and replied to some of this troll's comments without deleting them. Maybe that was intentional on his part, to leave evidence of how disgusting/violent the right-wing is these days.

I agree this is not how PoliticsTOO comment sections should look but I don't want to jump in on a thread I'm lacking context on when another Mod was there. Maybe ask him.

Yeah. I typically leave comments. If they want to say some dumb shit, let them. That way there's ample evidence of their hatred and perfidy.
