Jesus did obey the law, not just that, He fulfilled the Law!

Whether he obeyed the law or not... whether he fulfilled the law or not (whatever that means) he was executed. And people today who accept cops killing people would be the same people watching the crucifixion as entertainment, if they were characters in the Bible.

Priests still performed their spiritual duties on the Sabbath. The Sabbath was supposed to be a day of rest for the purpose of honoring God. Jesus healing people honored God and thus did not violate the Sabbath.

The Romans were the ones who brought up the charges; to them, the only gods were THEIR gods i.e. Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Mercury, etc. so Jesus claiming he was a god would have been blasphemy in their eyes. Raising people from the dead like Jesus did with Lazarus would have been perceived as performing sorcery. The Romans thought that when Jesus taught people to follow Him and His teachings and not follow Caesar's laws would have been seen as inciting rebellion. The Romans thought and criticized Jesus when he "worked" on Sundays because they thought the Hebrews had a law forbidding them to "work" on Sunday.

If he existed, and claimed to be the son of god, whether he was or wasn't, if the people in charge didn't believe him, that would be blasphemy.
Sedition is not exactly the same as inciting riot. His claim to be King of the Jews would be seditious, as the official authority of the region was the Emperor of Rome.
The violation of the Sabbath is what he was accused of according to the Bible.

All of this is quite beside the point... he was executed for crimes... whether you think they were crimes or not... whether his actions were justified or not.... the point is, people today are rationalizing the deaths of black people by saying, "well, he shouldn't have...".

Well, they shouldn't have done a lot of things. I'm not going to make a blanket statement here but a lot of the deaths being highlighted could have been avoided if the perpetrator had just followed instructions.

Maybe. But they *definitely* could have been avoided if the cops had chosen not to kill them.

In the case of George Floyd that officer should not have had his knee on his neck like that.

In the case of Jacob Blake, those officers would have been shot if they had not shot first.
