Double Standard

Pro-life = keeping alive innocent people, pro-death penalty = executing murderers. Personally I think that all murderers deserve the death penalty, but it should be used VERY sparingly because it's possible you'll be executing the wrong guy.

That's not how it works. Either you're pro-life or you're pro-death, you can't have it both ways.

When you resort to executing a criminal, you're no better than they are.

Actually you can, since the Death Penalty is applied to Murderers who show no remorse or whose actions were particularly heinous (grossly wicked or reprehensible). Comparing a person like that to a child in the womb, just following its natural development in a situation it had zero responsibility for, places a greater burden on the analogy than it can logically be expected to bear.

Saying that Jesus wasn't real is about the most unintelligent thing someone could say. You could say that he wasn't God, or that the miracles he did were exaggerated, or that the resurrection never happened, but non-existent people do'nt have such a profound effect on the entire world.
