Maybe not.... A lot of confederate voters are Trump voters, and that that news may cause them to walk away and with Biden leading the polls, Trump can't risk that... But at the same time, he'd be foolish enough to claim that anyway. (After all, since when did Trump LISTEN to his advisors?)
