Most people have a really silly kind of humor. If they didn’t, meme man still wouldn’t be alive and memes with jokes that aren’t mega silly would get more upvotes. I find this upsetting but oh well.

It just proves I don't understand people. But I'm not in it for the numbers. I think it's fun but nobody outside of here will see them except my 7 friends I'm not embarrassed to share them with. It hadn't occurred to me that guns are a much bigger thing now. My principal was shot and killed at school in '77. No one mentioned reforms. There's more people now than ever before. Just remember we are one country. One world. We want what's best for everyone of us. The "degenerates" are just us at different times in their lives. We're all going through some really tough times and everyone is stressed. Different people have different ideas on how to fix it. That's all. Don't let the media get to you. Make memes!

Well, the thing is more people get the stupid memes. Not everyone has the background for the smarter memes. A lot of the time my humor has an audience of exactly one person. I don't even post those memes... 😅🙈 Only if I think at least ten people will get it do I post it at all. And I usually don't post in the fun stream anymore because it seems in the more specialized streams people seem to have a more similar background in some way and the memes don't get lost in the flood as much.

I don't even look at other memes here. Don't follow or look at individual streams. I just post a few everyday for fun. It's just an outlet for frustrations for me. I rarely read the comments people leave especially on my political ones. I live happily in my own little world I guess. Oblivious to the ways of most normal people apparently. LoL.

I am understanding the gun play on words isn't funny to a lot of people right now. Didn't think of that. I'm not a gun owner because there's always kids around me but grew up around them and that saying. Just didn't think.

That's the right way to use memes though. At least in my opinion. If you care too much about your points or the reach of your memes it's only gonna stress you out. I've tried to have meaningful discussions but with some people you know from the start it's not worth arguing and after you do it anyway all you've achieved is increasing your blood pressure and heart rate... So, in my opinion, you're doing it right. 👍

I hadn't noticed that either. I think there's a way to see what your points are and there was a list of the best ones. I got tired of feeling inadequate so I haven't looked in more than a year I'm sure. Probably a couple years. I dunno. Time is weird for me these days.

Thank you for your comment. That actually explains a lot. I knew everyone got different messages but I actually hadn't noticed they add their life experience to the memes. To me memes are a distraction from life so I don't take them very seriously. So few people see any of mine anyway.
