Both... you can easily condemn both. Why is that so hard? The problem is that the media uses one and even abuses ongoing investigations saying "no justice for the victim" leading to conviction by poorly informed public opinion. Yet stories where the same thing, or worse things happen - what you just did is often the response.

Your story was widespread news and the media were all over it. Stories like this don't get that same outrage, they're even ridiculed and compared to something equal on the other side everyone already knows, and is likely in condemnation, about.

Everyone goes disgustingly low, it isn't a right thing, it isn't a left thing, it's simply a partisan thing.

I've seen you around, you don't seem like an idiot. You really don't. You do seem to have some fairly strong bias on some things though and it is blinding you to the hypocrisy you sometimes show. Everyone has bias of course, but we need to get past that. Things would actually get done if instead of arguing over what to talk about, we actually talked about things and worked together to find solutions.

That's actually a good response, I commend you. You came at this meme hard though which lead to a more holistic response from me (maybe not entirely aimed at you even). having watched that footage as well (I only had articles and pictures before), I agree horrible actions. The blonde did assault a man (picture evidence) but not the boy at least in a physical way. Thanks for the link to put it in clearer context. Maybe I jumped the gun and will take a step back. I encourage the up-voters to watch as well and give further context if you have it.

The two have been charged with robbery, conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child. The one on the right also has a charge of offensive touching (of the adults, I guess - as she physically assaulted both the man and the mother holding the camera) They're sitting in a correction facility awaiting trial. So, this may not be all the evidence put forward against them. I do still agree it is disingenuous to say this was an attack on a boy though - the main claim is that the woman on the right attempted to step on the boy's hand, but I haven't found evidence of that (not saying it did or didn't happen - she lunges forward at something off screen at some point, but that's it.)
