To me, a user's age is irrelevant. We're all here together.

It's how a user interacts with others that indicates their maturity, so from my perspective some kids are more mature than some adults, some adults are more mature than some kids.

I think the origin of the two streams mentioned here came out of the notion of upvoting etiquette. Vote however you like, up, down or not at all. imgflip.com/signup Some users notice, some don't notice, other users don't care either way.

One thing I'll add. The owner of Imgflip told me a while back that users who have multiple accounts to harass others or to game the points system are cheating. If you think that's happening, you can feel free to send in an email to [email protected] with specific details who you think is doing that and where it's happening.

ImgFlip is a bit of an island of misfit toys: full of folks who don’t quite fit in on other more mainstream social media platforms, particularly those that involve attachment to real-life names and friends.

That makes this kinda a weird place and you never know quite what you’ll get.

Lots of beauty and creativity, but a lot of damaged and hateful souls as well.

Kids (when they do act out) have a ready-made excuse for being this way: they’re not fully-developed yet. The adults, not so much.

Alright, I'm back. First, let's look at the wayback machine. On July 17, 2020 the stream description for https://imgflip.com/m/damn_Kids was: "A stream where we can,Joke about,bitch about,complain about,make fun of These DAMN KIDS ON IMGFLIP!. unlimited post must have 30 days experience and 10,000 points.no porn,racism or hate except for kids you can hate them." I know it says "Joke," but the rest of the description and content posted in the stream somewhat contradicts that. About 1-2 weeks ago, kewlew changed the stream description to fit the whole "it's a joke."

Anyone who knows me will know that if someone creates a damn_kids stream, I'm not gonna sit by and watch.

I've tried to approach kewlew on this whole issue (most recent attempt unfeatured for harassment: https://imgflip.com/i/4b9ttf) but it hasn't gone so well. I would have no problem with attempting to stop the adults vs. kids "war" if you can call it that.
