My apologies. I should've just come out and said that the 2nd Amendment was meant to impede or even stop tyranny, like people stealing elections with the help of the Russian government, etc.

It's okay... I know how the 2nd amendment is interpreted, yet the amendment does not give the right to threaten no matter how you interpret it. I am not sure if the 2nd amendment would help against a people trying to manipulate elections in any way. Most of the stuff the Russians did (or are at least accused of) were done through the media and the internet and firing a gun through the internet is not possible, so assuming the Russians did indeed steal the election outcome, I think it stands irrefutably that the 2nd amendment cannot help there, no matter if you believe in guns are protection against a corrupt government or not.

I do understand the frustration about Trump though. I never made it a secret that I think he not competent either... Yet I want my "battle" against politicians like him to remain credible, and death threats don't help there. And besides I don't like death threats anyhow.
