Obscurity isn't the issue. It's coherence. Or in this case, lack thereof.

For any meme to be effective, it needs to be relatively simple and contain a clear message.

Simple, yes. Maybe even too simple. Coherent? It's your meme, so you'll say yes. I would disagree.

Fair enough. OTOH you need to get the reference ( I's a particular line of dialogue form a particular tv show ). If you don't then don't whine, just ignore it. If you get the ref. you get it, if you don't you don't.
