I’m not even an American but I still have great respect for Kennedy.
The way he stood up to & pushed back communists aggression.
Started making inroads into fighting organised crime & also warned us of malevolent forces acting behind the scenes in ‘free’ countries.
Also his work to help peaceful civil rights groups.
Both a man for the times but also a pioneer.
Put this into the package of a handsome, charming, charismatic & intelligent man And you can see why Americans (of all political & racial groups & many more all over the world) Openly mourned his senseless murder.
Politicians these days don’t come close as they tend to be either too selfish or crazy to think And act in the same way as him.
I don’t normally come to the politics stream ( too much vitriol that in the end just leaves both sides more bitter ) but feel needs the recognition he truly deserves.
