Those cute critters are adults, and why should you wish them to sting anyone?
Not to mention the act tears out their stinger which is their ovipositor which is their sexual organs and thus they die.

You do know that bees don't sting unless threatened, nor does that bee in you pic. It's wasps and hornets that do the stinging on randoms.
When bees get engorged after a whole lotta feeding, you can pet them when they're their sitting there still. Not sure they like it tho as they'll raise a leg to deflect you.

They say we got murder hornets on our Island, I wonder if I can pet them too, if I see one I'll give it a try. They're not murderous, just misunderstood.
THERE IS NOTHING CUTER THAN WATCHING A BABY BEE FEED ON A FLOWER WHILE I WATER MY GARDENS. AND I AM GLAD TO CONTRIBUTE TO THEM GROWING BIGGER SO THAT THEY CAN STING A JOGGER WHO REFUSES TO WEAR A MASK.
