He refused to stop his truck at a road block, called out for State Cops to kill him, tried to run over one officer, and crashed into a snow drift. He jumped out of the truck, refused multiple orders to lie down, and reached for his 9mm pistol. That is when State Police oblbiged him and shot to kill. You got one of the facts right, he was killed. Multiple investigations support the official version of what happened.
