I ended up with a year probation here in England (almost 6 month sentence, so I guess I can't complain) because someone threatened me for my phone so I stabbed him in the side with my screwdriver (we can't carry any sort of weapon but when I'm doing late deliveries I keep my screwdriver in my inside pocket)

I got off primarily due to his only minor injuries (small tipped screwdriver and a thick plastic shroud after about 2cm steel tip so it didn't do much) and his repeat arrests.
That was about 4 years ago
Ever since then if I'm on late deliveries I do something different -- I bring an even bigger screwdriver with no plastic shroud.

Never give in to criminals, they'll literally come back the next time if they know you're an easy target

That's exactly what the political Left inside the United States keeps struggling to accomplish; they want to make it illegal for victims to fight back against the criminal element. Essentially they want to reward the criminals and punish the victims of crimes.

I will not put up a fight. I will kill.

So far no GOP governor nor mayor has stood down police departments to allow violent radicals to loot, burn, mug, and murder for week after week. Only the Dem Party has done that.

Then we are in agreement! Both parties just want to take our money and f**k us.

True but in the current situation the Democrats pose the greater threat to America.
