If Trump respects women so much, why did he say that he grabs women by the p*ssy?

Miss BeezKneez, I am a man. I can't apologize for that; that;s how God created me. Here's something your brothers might have neglected to share with you. When Men are in their own company, they often say things about the fairer sex that would be inappropriate in polite company. The conversation of which you speak was secretly taped. In it 2 men with competitive egos were showing off. Men are not perfect. I can promise you that President Trump respects all women. I certainly would think more than the man who ended the #metoo movement when it was discovered that he actually grabbed Miss Tara Reid's genitalia. Respectfully, Vince Vance

A tractor? A tractor. A TRACTOR. I have doubts my guy. I mean if she was on a tank or something like that, you'd have an argument, but a tractor?

It's not an argument. Chicks love tractors, especially the older ones. I have a newer model than the one above, and it makes me about 12-15 grand every October pulling people around, and I charge extra for riding up front with me. There's a whole culture around these. things. Better than spending 200 grand on a sports car, and it pays for itself. I also do some serious yard work with it. When the family comes to visit..all the kids just wanna ride the tractor. Some just never grow out of it.

"In God we trust" is what our country was founded on

And you don't like people supporting our troops?
1 up, 4y,

In god we trust was first used in currency in 1956. The constitution was founded as a secular document.

“The longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth: 'that God governs in the affairs of men.' And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid?”
That was Benjamin Franklin during the Constitutional Convention when they couldn't agree on things and the progress in creating the Constitution had been halted.
So tell me, was it really founded as a secular document?

Wait... wasn't Franklin a Deist?
4 ups, 4y,

Heh, that's what I always hear, even from some Christians. But does that statement really sound like a Deist to you?
2 ups, 4y,

True... Guess it's just another myth that somehow got the status of historical fact, just like evolution.
4 ups, 4y,
1 reply
That's what I think. And ya know, maybe he was at some point. He does say "the longer I live" at the very start. Maybe he started out as a Deist but saw what was really true later on.
2 ups, 4y
Ok. I heard that an evangelical friend of his died regretting that he couldn't turn Franklin to the light, but maybe he turned after his friend's death.
4 ups, 4y
Interesting, maybe you're right. I'll have to look into that cause he really does not sound like a Deist to me.

But I really don't think the ones pulling the strings want to fix things.
2 ups, 4y
True dat. Well, maybe they have that motive, but their spiritual master has other plans.

So I've done some reading and found that he wasn't really a traditional Deist. He walked away from all the doctrine of the Christian Faith in his teens and took up more of a religion based upon morals. It did mention an evangelical friend and George Whitefield who kind of started to turn him back as he got older, so I suppose by the time of his statement I wouldn't really consider him to be a real Deist, but I wouldn't consider him to hold entirely to everything in the Christian faith. It's very interesting.
1 up, 4y
Ah, ok. That explains it. Thanks for taking the time to research it out! I respect people who take the time to do proper research!

Yeah, they're all gonna come to an end eventually. Part of me fears that we've had a good run but that it's over now, but I'm not givin' up my America without a fight. We'll see how things turn out, but I'm hopeful that we'll come out of this stronger than ever.
1 up, 4y
I hope to God you're right. Just because America is broken doesn't mean we can't try to mend it. The ironic thing is, liberals want to fix the nation too. But they're doing it in a very detrimental way that just damages it further. It seems that they try to fix crime by dropping law. They try to fix sin by dropping morality. They try to fix ineducation by indoctrinating students. They try to fix the coronavirus by acting as if it were some sort of contagious cancer, rather than recognizing that God gave us immune systems for a reason. I could go on, but 1. You get my point and 2. I really need to go to bed. Good night!

Yeah, thanks for making me want to! I always love learning more about history.
1 up, 4y
You're welcome!

Same here. I hate having to memorize dates, but I enjoy reading through history (or, as someone famously put it, "His story") and seeing the way God orchestrates everything, turning even the worst events to good. Although, that has the effect of making me interpret modern going-ons through historical eyes, which is both a blessing and a curse.
1 up, 4y,

Blaugh! Memorizing dates is the worst! But I mean, I do know a lot of them XD
But yeah, it's always useful to look things through a historical lens. It can really put things in perspective.
For example, things were a lot worse 100 years ago then they are now, but God got us through that. No reason to lose faith here either.
1 up, 4y
Exactly. Actually, my dad sent me an essay written at the time of the USSR, called "The Fate of Empires," which shows patterns in the rise and decline of the mighty empires of the past, such as:
An age of conquest/pioneering
An age of glory
An age of decline
The downfall happening right about 250 years after it's founding.

The author explains it much better than I did, so here's the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ocOmSh-kLBSUjs9d2KkcNufcwX3vBhfS/view?usp=drivesdk

The fact that some of the founding fathers were themselves Christian is completely irrelevant to whether the constitution itself was a religious document. The constitution made no official endorsement of any religion over the other, and thus is a secular document.

John Adams said it better than myself: “The government of the United States, is not in any sense, founded on the Christian religion.”
6 ups, 4y
In itself it is not a religious document, but it was founded on Christian beliefs
