White folks brandishing guns in the faces of black folks marching for their rights: Indeed, this looks kiiiiiiinda racist and makes for easy dunking material.

The McCloskeys lived on a so-called private street. I assume this lawyer power couple imagined they'd purchased freedom from the world and its problems. Too bad they happened to live on the same street as the St. Louis mayor who took it upon herself to release identifying details of police reform activists at a press conference 2 days prior, which is what touched off this protest.

They'd probably also imbibed propaganda priming them to view any BLM protest as a Molotov cocktail-party waiting to happen.

They were wrong. As it turns out, the vast majority of BLM protests are peaceful and this one was as well: save for their own gun-wielding activities that threw gasoline all over this situation.

Worth noting as well that no other neighbors reacted this way, and indeed 38 of them signed an open letter condemning the McCloskeys for this conduct.

They only signed it because gated communities are predominantly Democrat and Democrats are all for bending the knee to the angry mob. You know, the party supporting the riots. The "peaceful protesters" and "black people marching for their rights", they threatened to kill the McCloskeys and their dog and threatened to burn down their house after trespassing on private property (the gate had a sign that clearly said "Private Property. No Trespassing"). That is not a peaceful protest and skin color does not change that fact. As for your pathetic excuse for a meme, Conservatives would still be praising them for standing up to the angry mob that was threatening their lives and property.
