Trump is smart enough to know he has to deal with Putin, so he may say nice things in public, but as far as policy, he has taken far more action against Russia than the Obama administration did. Isn't that odd, considering Russia's actions in the Ukraine (for example, annexing Crimea) during president Obama's term? Hard to explain, isn't it?

It almost seems like you're forgetting that during the 2016 presidential election, in which Russia definitely interfered, it was the prior administration that did nothing. Well, nothing other than when president Obama sternly told Putin to "knock it off."
