In early May, 2020

A man in Colorado died with a blood alcohol content of .55% and was classified as COVID-19 death.

After this became public and people challenged it...

Colorado changed how they report coronavirus deaths:

The change came after Colorado’s Department of Public Health admitted that its COVID-19 death toll was counting those who tested positive for the coronavirus but had died of other causes, Fox 31 Denver reported late Friday.

The department now says 1,150 Coloradoans who died had COVID-19 but only 878 of those deaths were “due to” COVID-19.

I understand trying to get rid of the current president, but this looks like they are purposefully killing people just to make him look bad. This is disgusting. Especially since creepy Joe Biden is the leading option for a replacement. How did we get to this point??

Yeah, I live in PA. I hate it. I have to wear a mask when I work at a GREENHOUSE.

Of course the deaths are dropping in New York. Meatball Cuomo and the other blue state Commie governors are running out of elderly to kill in the nursing homes.

That's because it's a pack of politically motivated lies.

And even with that spike, their death to case ratio is much lower than the states mentioned in the meme. Arizona (.018) and Florida (.016) for instance are far below that of the states listed, which were all at .07 or above. The point of the meme is to raise the question: Is there a political motivation leading to a surge of reported deaths in certain states? I think that very clearly the answer is yes, but that's my opinion. I feel that there may be some merit to the claim that states are reporting covid deaths incorrectly to increase statistics. 4 of these states listed also forced nursing homes to accept covid positive patients, putting the most at-risk people right in the thick of it. Seems very strange and either extremely idiotic or borderline criminal. Do you think it's something that raises an eyebrow? or do you think it's just a weird coincidence/nothing to see here?

Also consider this...there are certain people that would do pretty much anything to get rid of our current president. They want this administration to fail and have the worst response in the world because Biden is not going to be able to beat him otherwise. If those 6 states had a case fatality rate closer to 4% like the current national average (according to John Hopkins https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/data/mortality) then we would have a national average just below 3%, ranking just below Peru at 12th in the world...not great, but acceptable to many considering how many personalities our country carries.

Death rate is less than half a percent. Its total nonesense.
