The voice of America will speak in November. If we have an election.

Yes it will, why wouldn’t we have an election. You guys just planning a total overthrow? I mean didn’t you kinda try a coup already?

Oh, I think we will. It’s too ingrained in our political tradition not to.

But it will be dysfunctional, chaotic, put tens of millions at risk of Covid infection; foreign interference of unknown nature can be expected based on past trends; and unless it’s a landslide in either candidate’s favor (and even if it is), then there is going to be significant doubt about the legitimacy of its outcome.

If Trump loses, is he going to go quietly? Based on everything he’s said and done to date, including whining about an election he *won*: doubtful.

Our democracy is in peril like never before, and the man in the Oval and the virus that has been his Achilles heel are the two biggest reasons why.

If Trump wins will the left accept it? There’s Likely gonna be a fight and people are going to suffer either way. The future of the country is not likely to be decided by a simple election that you already display contempt for along with the idea of America. After the election we will see if captitalism or communism reigns in the USA.

Election 2020 will not be a civilizational struggle between capitalism and communism (Biden a communist? Seriously?)

It will be a simple test of two things: (1) our logistical ability to run one of the world’s largest regular exercises in democracy, and (2) our commitment to the peaceful transfer of power.

Exactly, and if Trump wins it will be a peaceful continuation of power? You assume victory but you need to get out more. People want a lot of things But they don’t want chaos in the streets and though they may not like Trump the actions of the left in the last month or so are not helping you and at least equally despicable to anything he has done.
