Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Am I handsome? I cannot answer. Do you think I'm handsome? Only you can answer that. But a different girl may have a different opinion than you have. And looks are not always a good measurement of intelligence. I've seen girls who were very intelligent of which some of them have the face and body of which I know the Playboy would love to put them naked on the front page, but also those of whom I know Playboy would not even think about it. Now first of all the question if Playboy is a good measurement to judge a woman's beauty (I think it's NOT), and second it shows that sexy looks and intelligence are not connected in any way.
All I can say about Matthew, I believe his real name is, is that he looks good, and I think I'd find him handsome if I were a girl, but that doesn't mean I'd date him, as aside from his role as Neville I know nothing about him. However when I as a heterosexual look at Luna, she looks beautiful, but what do I know about the girl playing her? What would happen if I met her for real? Would I end up irristably kissing her, or would I loathe her with passion? Well, most likely somewhere in between as I just named the extremes, but you get the picture.
But whether your partner is a boy or a girl, there is a big con when (s)he is beautiful in the opinion of many. In Dutch we say "een mooie vrouw heb je nooit alleen" (You never have a beautiful woman for yourself alone). Many jealous looks wherever you go. If they are "ugly" in the opinion of many you don't have that issue.
Also don't look down on yourself being a "lower scale nerd". Nerds are overall very intelligent and they play an important role in shaping the world. And some people can be beautiful on both the outside and inside. If you don't like a man because he's good-looking, you are already judging him by his looks. You get my reasoning? 😎
