Because the children must go back to school to resuscitate the economy and begin to return the country to some semblance of itself. The fight to change schools will have to be fought by the parents becoming more involved and actually showing up to PTA meetings that discuss real issues about curriculum and not Just bake sales.

Do you have kids? and a job? Ok fine now where are all those affordable start up private schools? Economies did not depend on children in school because they were agrarian societies. In the modern world if you don’t have a school you have to find a safe babysitter, which will be in high demand if there is no school Or stay home and do it yourself. Which deprives your family of the extra income and lowers your standard of living. I get what you are saying but don’t see it as a feasible solution without some massive influx of private schools.

Couldn't reply to your message. Hit the limit. Here is your answer: I have many children. They were homeschooled. It was difficult, but we did it, because we had to do it. Our "standard" of living was middle class, decent neighborhood, lots of food and cars. Quit acting like the government run indoctrination camps are the only way to go. Start your own business and teach it to your kids. Find a bunch of like minded parents and trade off teaching. Teach on the weekends. That's as much teaching as they get in a week of schrool. Where there is a will, there is a way.
