I'll say what I believe on this though: No you can't choose who or what you're attracted to, but you can choose how you act on that. I've been attracted to girls but consciously chose not to act on it because at this point in my life I don't want to worry about a relationship. That's a choice I made and no-one is/was the wiser.
You can pray to God about this and ask him to help you, and if you have people that you really trust you can tell them and ask them to pray for you. The problem however, is that you can't make progress unless you first admit that it's wrong.

Cause it's a sin and it DOES hurt people from certain perspectives. For example, children are supposed to have a mother and a father, not two moms or two dads. But I guess if you were to never adopt or whatever you'd only be hurting yourselves.

A child can grow up with two dads or two moms and still be happy.

I can almost garentee you that people with 1 mom and 1 dad are WAY more happy, and that is part of the reason we have more depressed kiddo now, because the family was not a good family, like they got divorced, or they were the same gender, I beleive that is a big part of why there are more depressed kids now
