Choose your adventure for why summary executions of suspects by agents of the state are illegal and unconstitutional.
As for Floyd:
Yes, he did the crime and he did his time. At the time of his death, he had recently lost his job due to the pandemic and was perhaps passing counterfeit bills to get by. He also may have struggled with a drug addiction as do millions of Americans.
None of these offenses separately or together warrant what Derek Chauvin did to end his life.
So I suggest you spare some of your outrage for the cop.
And? They’re naming it after George Floyd because he was unfairly killed by police violence, and the catalyst to the protests. Whether he had past crimes is completely irrelevant. Police should not be the judge, jury, and executioner
And you're upset that they're being named after a guy who committed aggravated robbery, served his time, reformed himself, got involved with his local ministry and was then murdered by the police, rather than being named after what? Slave traders?
What are you talking about? Read what I actually said, I suggested you read something about him that isn't biased, you might learn something. He served a 5 year sentence.
Stop being so lazy and do some research.
doesnt mean he "reformed" himself. He was doing a criminal act at the time of his death. I'm not saying he should have died but he was high on drugs and was using a fake 20 dollar bill. So dont give me that reform bull shit
Are you trying to argue that a crime done without knowledge or intent is equivalent to one done with knowledge and intent?
If an old white lady had been high on her prescription drugs and accidentally used a fake note she'd been passed, do you think the outcome would've been the same?
ALL THESE LIBERALS ARE JUDGING SLAVE OWNERS ON THEIR PAST, BUT NOBODY CARES THAT GEORGE FLOYD WAS IN JAIL 5 TIMES AND ONE FOR HOLDING A PREGNANT WOMAN AT GUN POINT. BUT THAT'S NONE OF MY BUISNESS
