So. How do you know you haven't been infected with COVID-19?

Before you say "I don't feel sick", are you aware that there is a 2 week period where you are infectious but don't feel any symptoms and that many people report mild symptoms?

And just because they are mild for you that it doesn't mean they will be mild for everyone?

And do you realize that your refusal to be mildly inconvenienced communicates your total lack of compassion and empathy for the world around you?

It’s not my responsibility to protect you.

If you are afraid, you wear a mask... then you’ll at least look “protected”.

How will you know it’s me?

Nope. They already confirmed that the "already infectious" part is not true.

If you are infected, it is your responsibility. You not taking action to isolate yourself kills people.

Yeah. Because you infect more people. And then they infect more people.

And some of those people die.

ALL because of you.

But, I’m not infected.

I have a strong immune system, and I have not been sick at all in several years.

No cough, no sniffles... nothing.

It comes down to this... I’m not going to live my life assuming I’m infected with some sort of a disease, and I will not be wearing a mask just to mollify other people.

Each individual’s baseline health and risk tolerance is different, so each individual should protect themselves from diseases as they feel is appropriate.

You cannot know if you are infected or not until it's too late.

By the time you discover you are sick with COVID-19, you will have been transmitting it for several days.

You need to take responsibility for yourself and not infect other people.

Your attitude is why it is spreading at an exponential rate.

Let me be absolutely clear, I’m not wearing a mask “just in case”.

It’s not happening, and I’m not the only one that feels this way. The vast majority of people when I go out in public are not wearing masks. It’s not even close.

You should probably just get used to wearing a mask 24/7 for the foreseeable future... just to be safe.

How do you know that you're not infected and spreading it to everyone you come in contact with?

I signed up to be tested, but the government won’t let me get tested because I’ve had no symptoms.

So, I am going to assume I’m not “infected” until proven otherwise, or until I begin to present some symptoms.
