Civil War election was neither between grateful and ungrateful nor was one side wanting to replace USA with something loathsome. I get your point about today but you need to learn history before making such incorrect comparisons.
This election is the first election since the Civil War to be about one thing and one thing alone: the grateful versus the ungrateful; One side loves America, while the other side loathes it and wants to replace it with something unrecognizable
