And from Hitler's use of ancient runes to claim and to inspire a revival of a mythologized history to Russia's wholesale leap back into the arms of the Church where it is again the center of a heavily hierarchical society with yearnings for a centralized authoritarian goverment bordering on monarchy seven decades later, it's clear that their whiteout (see what I did there?) of history was so very thoroughly complete.
