"The Chase" Chased all the fans away

I stopped watching after 2003, it was the last real season of Nascar as far as I'm concerned.

Saw a report that said if the old points were still used, Jimmy Johnson and tony Stewart would have 1 less championship , Jeff Gordon 1 more and Carl Edwards 1

Personally I can understand simplifying the points system, And think championship should have been given to the best average finisher for the season to me they literally finished better so it's more fair.

Jeff Gordon 7 Kevin Harvick 3 Jimmie 3 Tony 2 Carl 2 under 2003 points system

I have to agree with the fact that Covid probably caused problems for it... just like everything else in the world!

If there was something else causing it, I didn't see it, because I don't watch NASCAR! That probably definitely means they are dying!

I think reports of NASCAR's death are being rather overblown. I'm no fan, but I think it'll take a lot more than this latest little incident to kill off a major American sport.

Their numbers have been down for years because of "the chase'.
The whole Bubba wallace thing will prolly give them a bump in ratings this week

The bratty rich kid problem didnt help either. Plate racing, and the boring ass rules. and then.... there is so much. Racing on the whole is good, but NASCAR is poorly ran now in the name of safety and PC culture!

They are the only sport that calculates how much Co2 they use and Plant Trees to offset it..

I really never watched racing, didnt interest me much
