Eh. I think their interpretation of God is different, but Biblically speaking, they worship the same God as us. Where the differences began is when Isaac and Ishmael were born. Christian scripture (The Bible) is based on the line of Isaac, while Islam scripture (The Qur’an) is based on the line of Ishmael.

I take it that the Islamic god is the same god as the Hebrew god, but viewed under a different light. In Islam, there are countless unique rules and conventions- however, there are many similarities. The monotheistic view, the omnipotence of the Islamic god, even similar dietary rules to that of Judaisim. It is also directly believed by Islamic scholars that Jesus was a blasphemous prophet.

I would argue that Muslims don't even worship a God at all and that Islam is not even a religion, but a political ideology.

Mohammad claimed to have revelations, but there are also verses in the Qu'ran that basically say things like, "Allah says when you visit the prophet (Mohammad) for dinner, leave promptly when it's done because it annoys the prophet when you stick around after dinner (because he wants to have sex with all nine of his wives tonight)." Obviously that's not an exact quote, but there are other examples of things like that which support the conclusion the Mohammad wrote the whole Qu'ran speaking as himself but pretending to be a god.

I would also mention that the Qu'ran tells Muslims to kill Christians and Jews, and it permits polygamy, FGM, and various other things. As a Christian, the God I believe in does not permit or encourage murder like the "god" of the Muslims does, so I would say no, we don't believe in the same God. I know that most Muslims aren't evil like their founder was, and I get that some of them are actually very reverent and respectful to who they believe is God, but going back to the beginning, Muhammad was an evil, murderous, polygamist, pedophile child rapist who founded a "religion" in order to make money (the Qu'ran orders taxes to be paid by subdued Christians and Muslims) and give men unlimited sex (it approves of polygamy and promises virgins to men who kill people for Mohammad).

And sorry but no the Qur'an doesn't correct the Bible on anything. The Qur'an is full of errors and contradictions. For example, it claims the Gospel is corrupted, but it also tells Chrstians to "judge by the Gospel."

Nice try, but that's the Old Testament. Those are the old Jewish laws, not Christian ones. Christianity doesn't teach that a rapist must marry his victim. That was an old Jewish teaching. But why is it in the Bible if we don't believe it you might ask? It's there as history. History is important to understand the present. There are some things in the Old Testament we still believe, such as the 10 Commandments, but Jesus came to fulfill and perfect the laws.

There are many man inserted laws in the Bible, for example permission to drink alcohol.

Permission? Is it assumed that drinking is forbidden unless permission is given?

Drinking is prohibited in Islam, it used to be in Christianity, but some ppl decided to make everything more conventional for themselves.

Also, it's kind of hilarious that you're claiming that Christians are the ones who mistreat woman. We Catholics honor Mary more than any other religion ever honored any woman.

Islam puts men on top. If a Muslim woman is raped, SHE'S the one who gets "honor killed," and the rapist goes free.

Also, Mohommad raped Aisha, a pre-pubescent 9 year old who cried as he raped her. Mohammad had 9 wives even though his own book he wrote allows men to have only up to 4 wives, but wives can only have one husband. Mohammad allowed his follows to rape their female captives.

Honor killing is not a thing in Islam, it’s just a treachery practiced by some people.

You can’t judge the whole religion based on one group of people

I understand that, but this "one group of people" are the Muslims who actually follow all the laws of Islam. Terrorism is part of Islam as is evident in the Quran verses calling all Muslims to violently subjugate Jews and Christians. Muslims who DON'T do this are disobeying Muhammad. They're obviously better people for not being terrorists, but not better Muslims.

In Christianity, it is a sin to lie. That left people wondering, in world war II for example, whether or not they had to tell the Nazis that they were hiding Jews in their house. If they were hiding Jews, and they told the Nazis they weren't, isn't that a lie? No because the Nazis have no right to the information. In a similar way, Jesus' brothers had no right to the information (Jesus is God after all, so He doesn't have to tell people everything they ask explicitly.)

It's funny that you criticize Jesus for "lying," and yet, Allah is know as the "greatest of deceivers."

You should read "Now They Call Me Infidel" by Nonie Darwish. She was raised Muslim in Egypt, hated all the hate, so she converted to Christianity and moved to the US. Once, she asked her Muslim school teacher, "Why should we hate Jews?" The response she got was a glare and the words, "Aren't you Muslim?"

Have you ever wondered why Islam is the only religion that mass-produces terrorists consistently? It makes a lot of sense to me judging by your holy book.
