You know how they say there's no such thing as a dumb question?
This is a dumb question.
Why?
Because someone doesn't die the moment they're diagnosed with COVID-19.
Maybe if you paid attention to science, you'd understand.
Just because 40,000 people were diagnosed yesterday doesn't mean that 40,000 people are supposed to die that same day.
If you go and look at the infection rates a months ago, you'll see the same pattern. First there wasn't any. Then there were some. Then a whole bunch. Then it started to decline.
A month from now you will see them go up;
