I'm feeling both overworked and unappreciated at the same time.

Weellllll, I gathered that much from your meme! What type of work do you do? I remember you asking a while back about interviewing tips, or at least I think that was you. Is this the job you got?

It's just a part-time job (better than nothing at least).

Overworked

Ah... how many hourrs do you work? How many breaks do you get, and how long are they?

6-7 hours a day usually and I get 2 breaks (10 minutes each)

Normal hours, but the break time is rather short. So you don't get lunch time of 30 minutes?

I forgot about that, but yeah I get lunch time for about 30 minutes.

so you have 2, 10 minute breaks plus 30 minute break time?

How often are you praised for your work?

How does your boss or supervisor treat you?

And, is this your first time working in a job?

1. Not very often (even though I work hard)
2. My boss does treat me good
3. Yeah, it's my first time working in a job

What would it look like in a job, that would make you feel appreciated?

My hard work to not go unrecognized

I don't doubt your hardship. I think what you're going through is unfortunately normal. There are not many jobs that gives adequete recognition because there are many good bosses.

Not to fault your boss at all; your boss might be introverted; not saying anything as s/he felt not the need to since to them you're doing a good job without their need to be there.

Still, we live in a day and age where no one really keeps his/her word anymore; we cut corners, step on people to get ahead, and believe that, "Nice Guys Finish Last".

But even in such an age, there are people who still do act with integrity. "Nice Guys..." may indeed "...Finish Last" but they can leave with with head held high, knowing that they've done what's right.

If you're looking for recognition in a form of positive affrimation, a praise of "Well done, good job", in time, it will come. If you're looking for promotion, it too will come but it comes more slowly.

If you are a believer in Karma (at least the Western notion of it), Karma will return to you

If you believe in the spirit-world, then the spirits will find a way.

If you believe in God, particularly the biblical God, then you will reap what you sow; but it is His timing (James 4:6).

If you don't believe in God, or Karma, or spirits, then the natural course of things will in the end come to your favor. People have eyes and ears; your boss may not see but they do. Ultimately, they'll help you as you've shown them that you are a girl of integrity. And so, it will work out in the end.
