Full details to my disappearance in the comment section, I've had one F*** up week.

A little over a week ago, the internet went out when the house was struck by lightning, I shit you not, the internet pole was the target, blackened it to a crisp. House is fine, but the electricity shot through the entire house fried my wifi too as well as a few of my game stations. Strangely enough, my laptop was plugged into a socket that shot fire out like a dragon yet it is perfectly fine.

Wow! That must have been scary. Glad nobody was hurt and your house didn’t catch fire.

That was a fear, for a good five hours there was a burnt smell throughout the house. Odds are there a few beams of wood within the walls with scorch marks on.

Luckily I was the only one home. Harder to explain to my roommate who was working at the time, she saw the storm and even drove through it but it wasn't until she saw what remained of our internet pole did she believe me.
