To be frank, I don't have a good picture of Biden. Due to the Corona crisis the news about the U.S. presidential elections was completely avoided the past few months by the international press, and since I don't live in the U.S. myself, I am more following news sources outside the U.S.
I am glad to see that Biden is doing well in the polls, but I also know polls can be misleading. Even exit polls can be. Perhaps you know the story about Truman, who did appear to lose the elections, and the papers the day after the elections already had the headline "Truman bites the dust"... Truth was that Truman still won, and there's a picture of him holding the paper with that headline, while laughing out loud. So with that in mind, I hope you realize I want to know the election results first before I think it's time to celebrate or not.
Of course, since Biden already was vice president under Barack Obama, and the Obama administration at least being competent, I trust on it that if Biden wins the elections we'll have a more competent president than Trump, regardless of his political agenda. But if he wins, I must also feel sorry for him, as he will have the task to unify the U.S. people who have been divided more divided than ever under the Trump administration, or at least since the North-and-South war.
I am still wondering what his plans for the U.S. are, and for me as a foreigner, his plans for the international politics, as that is where the U.S. politics do affect me.
