Why do you need a statue to learn history? 

Can't you read books like everyone else? 

Also, if we don't have any statues to Hitler, why do we all know about him? 
Also also, if we don't have any statues of King George, why do we all know about him?

that last one was a trick question. There is a statue of Lafeyette and I'd be shocked if anyone on this board knew who he was without a google search.

Why do we have to tear down statues that no one pays attention to anyway? You are correct. Statues are not a guarantee that the people will learn the history behind them. If they were, many Union statues would be destroyed as well.
