Let's not make the same mistake liberals do--the mistake of PRESENTISM. Presentism is viewing that past from today's perspective. That's impossible and wrong. There is content and there is context. The words (content) stated in the meme are correct, but we must understand the context. Blacks were viewed as property and sub-human. This didn't change in the north or south. Try to view it from the information and time period he Lincoln lived in and not form 2020. I guarantee you if he were here in 2020, he would not use those words because he would have evolved like we all should.
